Return & Refund Policy

I. THE 30-DAY COMPLIANCE WINDOW

To maintain international good standing and transparency, BDB offers a 30-day return request window for eligible items from the date of delivery. However, eligibility is strictly governed by the asset category and condition protocols defined herein.

II. CATEGORY-SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY

• Rare Media & Books: Must be returned in the exact condition documented in our Chain of Custody logs. If a BDB Security Seal is broken or the item shows signs of handling not present at the time of fulfillment, the return will be rejected.
• Technical Hardware (Miners/Electronics): Due to market volatility and hash-rate fluctuations, hardware returns for "Buyer's Remorse" are subject to a 20% Restocking Fee. Items must show zero "Power-On" time.
• Custom/Signed Assets: Per global trade standards, personalized or author-signed items are Final Sale and non-returnable.

III. LOGISTICS & INCOTERMS ADHERENCE

Pursuant to our Incoterms® 2020: FCA fulfillment standard:

• Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping fees, insurance premiums, and import duties/tariffs are service costs paid to third parties and are 100% non-refundable.
• Return Transit: The Buyer is responsible for return shipping. Risk of Loss remains with the Buyer until the return is physically received and authenticated at a BDB Node.

IV. THE "RECIPROCAL CLAIM" PROTOCOL

As established in our Fulfillment Policy, if a return is requested due to damage sustained during transit, a refund will be processed only upon the successful award of insurance proceeds from the carrier to BDB.

V. INITIATION & RMA PROTOCOL

To initiate a return, you must contact support@bustdownbooks.com with your Order Number and photographic evidence of the BDB Security Seals.
Notice: Unauthorized returns (packages sent without a Return Merchandise Authorization) will be refused at the BDB Node and returned to the sender at their expense.

VI. EU/EEA CUSTOMERS — RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (COOLING-OFF PERIOD)

Pursuant to EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason.

Exceptions — The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Sealed items that have been unsealed after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons
• Custom or personalized items (including author-signed editions), which remain Final Sale per Section II
• Digital content where download or streaming has already begun with your prior consent

To Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal:

Contact us at support@bustdownbooks.com within 14 days of receiving your order, providing your Order Number and a clear statement of your intent to withdraw. You are not required to provide a reason.

Return Shipping:

The cost of returning goods is at the customer's expense unless the item was delivered in error or is defective.

Refund Timeline:

We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method used for the original purchase. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

This section applies exclusively to customers located in the European Economic Area and is provided in accordance with mandatory EU consumer protection law. Nothing in this section limits or waives any statutory rights you may have under applicable local law.

Submission of a return request constitutes acknowledgment of these terms. Unauthorized "forced returns" or chargebacks will be contested using our internal FQSIP evidence logs.
