I. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & DMCA SAFE HARBOR

1. First Sale Doctrine: Per 17 U.S.C. § 109, we exercise our legal right to resell lawfully acquired physical media. We retain all procurement records as proof of legitimate acquisition.

2. IP Compliance & Notice: We respect all intellectual property. If you believe content infringes your rights, you must contact legal@bustdownbooks.com before initiating third-party filings. We will voluntarily review or remove material within 48 hours for verification.

3. Protection Against Predatory Claims: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), we reserve the right to seek damages/fees for bad-faith DMCA filings intended to disrupt our operations.

II. USAGE & CONTENT DISCLAIMERS

1. Not Professional Advice: Content provided via our blog, podcasts, and "radio reads" is for educational, historical, and narrative-driven purposes only. We do not provide licensed business, legal, or financial consultation.

2. Independent Perspectives: We invite resident and guest writers to express independent views. These viewpoints belong solely to the author and do not necessarily represent the position or opinions of Bust-Down Books, LTD., its directors, or affiliates.

3. Prohibited Activities: Data mining, scraping, or extracting content without authorization is strictly prohibited under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Unauthorized access attempts may result in legal action.

III. TECHNICAL ASSETS & EXPORT COMPLIANCE

1. Restricted Jurisdictions: In compliance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), we do not ship mining hardware or high-performance electronics to: Algeria, North Macedonia, and the People’s Republic of China. We reserve the right to cancel any order destined for a jurisdiction where such hardware is prohibited by law, regardless of whether that jurisdiction is explicitly named herein.

2. Hardware Liability: Mining hardware is sold "as-is" regarding hash-rate and profitability. Buyer assumes all electrical and fire risks associated with industrial-grade equipment.

IV. VINTAGE MEDIA & INSCRIPTION RULES

1. Condition Standards: Minor "character marks" (foxing, tanning, deckled edges) on antique items are part of the asset's value and do not constitute a defect. Defects exceeding our detailed photography are handled per our Refund Policy.

2. Personal Autographed Inscriptions: Must be respectful, positive, and free of profanity. Max 10 words/40 characters. We reserve the right to refuse/refund any inscription at our discretion. Personalized items are non-returnable.

V. INDEMNIFICATION & FRAUD DEFENSE

1. Indemnity: You agree to hold Bust-Down Books, LTD. and its staff harmless from claims arising from your use of our products, site interactions, or violation of these terms.

2. Chargeback Protocol: Fraudulent chargebacks are reported to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). Our internal Quality Check (QC) logs and tracking data serve as definitive proof of fulfillment.

3. Choice of Law: Any legal action shall be filed exclusively in the courts of Denver County or the State of Colorado.
