Fulfillment Quality Standards & Inspection Protocol (FQSIP)
Doc ID: BDB-FQSIP-2026-v2 | Authorized by: Bust-Down Books, LTD. ("BDB")
I. GOVERNING COMMERCIAL FRAMEWORK (INCOTERMS® 2020)
All logistics operations conducted by Bust-Down Books, LTD. (hereinafter "BDB") are governed by Incoterms® 2020: FCA (Free Carrier). BDB’s contractual obligation is fulfilled, and Risk of Loss is transferred to the Buyer, upon delivery to the carrier at the point of origin. This complies with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) for shipment contracts.
II. QUALITY MANAGEMENT & TRACEABILITY (ISO-ALIGNED)
BDB maintains a systematic Quality Management Protocol (QMP). Every order must pass a Three-Point Verification and be issued a Certificate of Conformance prior to fulfillment:
- First-Article Inspection (FAI): Assets are serialized and cross-referenced against the BDB Condition Rubric. Technical hardware (Miners/Electronics) is bench-tested for baseline architectural integrity.
- Reinforced Export Packaging: To mitigate international transit risks, BDB utilizes double-wall corrugated shielding and moisture-barrier poly-bagging that meets or exceeds international air-freight standards.
- Partner Nodes: Outsourced fulfillment is restricted to audited partners who adhere to the BDB Climate & Security Mandate.
III. INTERNATIONAL REGULATORY & 2026 EU COMPLIANCE
The Buyer is designated as the Importer of Record and assumes all responsibilities for local compliance.
- 2026 Duty & VAT Mandates: For EU/UK orders, Buyer is responsible for all VAT and the 2026 €3 per-parcel handling fees. BDB utilizes accurate HS-Code classifications to ensure transparency.
- Sovereign Force Majeure: Delays, seizures, or "holds" by governmental authorities are classified as outside the control of the merchant and do not constitute a failure of fulfillment or a basis for refund.
IV. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & CHAIN OF CUSTODY
BDB maintains exhaustive Chain of Custody records to prevent fraud and satisfy Payment Processor (Stripe/PayPal) requirements.
- Evidence Logs: Outbound shipments are documented via serial-number logging and time-stamped photographic evidence of packaging and contents.
- Direct Signature Requirement: Mandatory for all assets >$200 USD. If the Buyer waives this requirement through a courier portal, they indemnify BDB against all claims of theft or loss.
- Reciprocal Refund Rule: BDB acts as your advocate for carrier claims. Refunds are issued strictly upon the award of insurance proceeds to BDB.
This protocol is an integrated component of the BDB Purchase Agreement. Continued use of this platform constitutes acceptance of these operational standards.
