Extended Synopsis

The legendary desert planet Arrakis, known as Dune, has been completely destroyed. The remaining bastions of the Old Empire have been ruthlessly consumed by the Honored Matres, a violent and conquering matriarchal cult. Only one faction remains as a viable threat to their total galactic domination: the Bene Gesserit, the true heirs to Dune’s formidable power.

Driven into hiding, the Bene Gesserit, under the steadfast leadership of Mother Superior Darwi Odrade, have colonized a lush, green world called Chapterhouse. In a desperate bid for survival, they are systematically transforming it into a desert, scorch by scorch, to master the breeding of sandworms. Controlling the production of the spice Melange is essential, but their ultimate weapon is a ghola—a man who has lived countless lifetimes and once served under the God Emperor Paul Muad’Dib.
