Extended Synopsis

Nine years have passed since Emperor Paul Muad’Dib vanished into the harsh desert wastelands of Arrakis. His legacy lives on through his twin children, Leto and Ghanima Atreides. Inheriting their father's supernormal abilities and devastating prescience, the twins are incredibly valuable—and dangerously vulnerable. They are tightly watched by their manipulative aunt Alia, who rules the sprawling Empire as regent in the name of House Atreides.

Alia's grasp on power is slipping. She faces treason and rebellion from multiple directions: the displaced House Corrino is actively plotting to reclaim the imperial throne, while the fanatical Fremen are being stirred into open revolt by an enigmatic, blind figure known only as The Preacher. As Alia seeks to extract the secrets of the twins’ prophetic visions to solidify her control, Leto and Ghanima realize they must forge their own destinies to save the empire from tearing itself apart.
