This book is a collage of the turmoil of emotions endured by a forbearing people who face their own erasure and genocide with fortitude. It captures their deepest sentiments and lifts off the mask of tyranny that has virtually extended its apartheid into the dimensions of thought and freedom of speech. The ‘I and We’ pronouns are employed in the poems so as to bring the author and readers to a burning bush moment of losing themselves in the traumatic experiences of persecuted peoples.
