Red Haze

Eric spun around and saw no flame. "It's coming up!" he yelled. "Pull back! Pull back!" Too late. The calm was gone in an instant. A giant wave of garish red-yellow-orange flame roared up out of the ravine and reared ninety feet high. Caught in its belly, the men were instantly reduced from the highest order of beings to nothing more than fuel. Five firefighters burn to death in a forest fire torched by an arson. Big Rod Dugan knows the firebug and tries his best to put him behind bars. He applies the pressure on Terry Dunn, but Terry is a wily one and slips away to the desert. Red Haze is a story about the human tragedy of the evil deeds of one man and those of his altruistic pursuer. In one weekend, death and destruction wreak havoc, but in the end, justice prevails.
