During the George W. Bush administration, Jennings held the esteemed position of Special Assistant to the President and served as the Deputy Director of Political Affairs starting in February 2006. His political journey began as a dedicated staff member for Bush's presidential campaign in Kentucky in 2000, followed by his role as the Executive Director of Bush's 2004 re-election campaign in New Mexico.
