Mark Douglas and Paula T. Webb's first book The Disciplined Trader, published in 1990 is an industry classic, and their second book Trading in the Zone was published in 2000, with several more books afterward. Their books are the first books to introduce the investment industry to the concept of trading psychology—the field they co-created in the late 1980s where none existed previously, years before anyone heard of that concept, much less provide coaching in this now popular way of approaching trading. They are Wall Street Moguls and considered the "Gurus" of trading psychology.

Another of their popular books The Key to Power Profits is now approaching best-selling status as well since revised in 2024. Another of their current books, The Little Book of Trading Performance speaks to traders about how coaching works, provides traders with real-life examples of traders they have worked with. Paula T. Webb is author of several other books all touching on the key elements of “knowing yourself” and learning how to think, to become the most successful trader you can be.

To date, Mark and Paula's first two books have been translated into 15+ languages including the Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Czech, Spanish languages to name just a few, with additional foreign language translations in the works forward. The Key to Power Profits has recently been translated into the Japanese language, and Becoming the Disciplined Trader has been released in the Czech language.

Mark began coaching traders in 1985; in 1999 Paula took over his coaching business when he returned to trading full time. They continued to develop seminar and training programs on trading psychology for the investment industry, as well as for individual traders, for decades. Mark was a frequent speaker at investment seminars across the world, and along with Paula they traveled to 8 countries, as well hosting their own monthly workshops across the U.S., teaching traders how to think to become consistently successful. May of 2010 was the start of Mark and Paula hosting joint workshops with ‘live trading’ (instead of individually), utilizing their mental aspects of trading psychology, as well as the expanded field of the "Warrior Trader" created by Paula. These workshops continue forward, as well as new books available for publication soon.

Mark and Paula have received numerous awards for their books and work, including the prestigious Bull/Bear Award in 2006, 2008, 2011, and again in 2015 and 2017. Paula has received awards from Arizona State University for her literary works, as well as the State of Arizona’s Golden Rule Award and the Presidential Achievement Award from the White House, for her commitment to the community. Paula is a best-selling author of numerous books of her own on the “new age” of trading psychology, as well as being an independent publisher for niche materials. She continues trading, coaching, hosting workshops; and provides spiritual fellowship in the position of a Chaplain with the Riverside County Sheriff’s office.
